Nike Lance Armstrong "Driven" Commercial

I am really proud to be a part of this national campaign sponsored by Nike and Live Strong - the Lance Armstrong Foundation. It's a powerful TV commercial and it premiered last night on all major networks. See it tonight during Conan & Letterman...and yes, that's me: the bald one pulling herself out of bed...

p.s. 7 radiation treatments to go, but who's counting...

this made me cry! it's such a powerful commercial. i really "get it." i don't think i would have been affected by it one way or another if i hadn't actually had cancer and been in those hospital rooms and radiation room and been in this cancer world. i hear exactly what he's saying! and i just love that you're part of this. congratulations!!! (i am asleep by 9:30 every night, so i'm glad you showed us the commercial here!) xoxoxo

Way to go Gail! What a powerful segment, I'm sure it will be a great gift to others going thru this. Wishing you a speedy bounce back after all of your treatments, looking forward to seeing you in the shop again soon. Your courage is inspirational...and your kids are pretty cute too! Positive thoughts are coming your way from Fred and I.

Well, Miss Gail, you've wanted your voice in this fight to be heard, and here you are. This is a poignant tribute to your fight, and an inspiration to those of us you have shared it with. I am proud to call you my friend, and boosted by your strength as I face life's challenges. Love, Sara
